When it comes to mini- and micro-scale vehicles, it’s hard to argue that anyone has a broader lineup than Losi. From the original Mini-T to the Mini-LST, Micro-T, Micro Rock Crawler and still others, Losi has proven that it has what it takes to make a solid sub-1/12-scale vehicle. They’ve taken their expertise and raised the bar with their latest offering that few, if anyone, saw coming in the Losi 1/24-scale 4WD Rally Car.
Built from-the-ground-up on an all-new platform this is one chassis that raises the bar in many different areas. The most obvious feature is the addition of full-time 4WD, but there are many other subtle features in this chassis that deserve a look too. From the oil-filled threaded body shocks to the full ball bearings this is a very impressive little car. We were able to sit down with the guy responsible for bringing the 1/24-scale 4WD Rally Car to reality, Losi’s own Todd Hodge. Todd provides an insider’s look under the body and inside the chassis to let us know what makes this new car special and different from anything else out there.
